AEW and Impact - 14th August

The Stu Grayson head-walk was cool. The finish of the match was bullshit however. I could also do without the Young Bucks love-in.
Private Party are the most adorable dorks. As is Luchasaurus.
I think I am supposed to object to Omega trying to snap-dragon Marko Stunt. But I don't. Because you know, Stunt was interfering with a match which makes him fair game.
Of course, then the show does this weird thing of switching from "OMG Omega snap-dragoned Stunt" to "Yay, Omega defending people against FTR", but it a really disjointed way, so, Omega's a good guy now, and FTR are bad. I am trying to figure out if AEW are trying (and failing) at New Japan-style characterisation. You know, this dude is like this, that dude is like that, they fight, cheer for who you want. Except they've overlaid that with good ol' JR and friends going "he's the villain" and then no one doing particularly good guy thing/everyone doing bad guy things. It's awkward and it doesn't work.
The Jake the Snake 'n' Murderhawk promo is great.
Why is tag-team appreciation night ending with a singles match?

The Wrestlehaus (glorious) nonsense - I love the whole "Alisha and Cody Deener just can't lie" bit.
And Crazy Steve being "I have a plan." Also, I love his suit.
Acey is excellent. (Rosemary would accept the still beating hearts of her enemies)
I also like Rosemary shushing Tommy Dreamer.
The rest of it -
I love you, Willie Mack. So much.
Knockouts Iron Man!!!! I am excited.
Loving the North promo-ette, especially Quiet North. (I remain excited about the tag division!!!!)
I disapprove of the Good Brothers with all my heart. Do not pick on the X-division. (I find myself wanting Austin and Fulton to win, which is ... not optimal, given the Good Brothers are supposed to be good guys, and Ace Austin is himself.)
Bryan Myers, you are not the person we want (he's the other not Edge guy, not the guy that looked like an under-fed Bram, right? I cannot be expected to keep track of everyone.).
