AEW and Impact - 10th July

AEW - Private Party, total spot-fiends, but so much fun. I'm thinking Marq Queen and the chop party, in particular.
Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss work as a tag team for me.
Even watching Darby Allin do that jump into foam makes my stomach roil.

Some of us, commentary team, do not think that Omega and Page or FTR or the Young Bucks are the best team in AEW. We know it's either Lucha Bros, or Santana and Ortiz and Kaz/Daniels who you are mysteriously and peculiarly avoiding mentioning.

TNA - The Suzy n Kylie Rae tag team remain adorable, and Rosemary/Taya Valkeyrie and Johnny Bravo remain all the fun.

Today's flashback match was Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky vs Victoria and Angelina Love. That I couldn't tell Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne apart may tell you how long ago it was.
Swinger-cide is advanced silliness. As is the "interview with Madison Rayne".

I love Ken Shamrock's look of "done" when having to deal with Callihan (who was remarkably non-evil this evening).
I know this is because I don't like "garbage" wrestling, but I do like it when Callihan can have a plain match.

I have to hope AEW are playing the long game with LAX until they break with Jericho's faction and become the dominant babyface tag champs we know they are. (Penta and Fénix are great too but imo better as singles wrestlers, especially Fénix, who still has so much US wrestling fans haven't seen. And Bad Influence, they're just natural heels)

With all my problems with AEW's booking, in terms of time on screen vs terribleness of booking, I think the tag division has it the worst. I think if they'd just go full force for trios it would work better. This sort of half-trios/half-duos thing doesn't work.
