If you like your violence violent, I recommend Eddie Edwards vs Michael Elgin from tonight. I worry how they're planning to top this at Hard to Kill.

Swann and Mack are going to break my heart with the way that storyline was set up. Oh Rich Swann <3 I mean, actual love. Because he forgives Willie Mack for understandable anger and idiocy even when it costs them a match but there's that little gap that the North can get a crowbar in to try to prise them apart and they will and ... (I do hope that when Rich Swann returns they go with this again because this story was getting me and good.)

OVE are being all cultish again. Idiot Crist be raging.
I love how they're handling the fiendish one and the whole feud. Because it's not about Tessa being a woman. Sami Callihan would be just as vile to anyone else but he's still making it personal (you're nothing without your family history) but without it being misogynistic and ... and they are being so not bad that I am amazed. There are so many ways that it could have gone wrong.

Yeah, I saw the Eddie-Elgin matchup live last summer and it was... A lot. I tend to give Eddie the lion's share of the credit though and idk... It's not a best of five I need to see (also - Eddie's series with Lashley is untouchable). I dunno though. If anyone can get Elgin to actually have a character and be memorable it's Eddie.

Yes, I think "... A lot" describes it well. Yeah, I think Eddie is the only person who can get me to watch an Elgin best of 5. I feel mean but it's partly that his style is just not a style I like and partly I do not feel connected to Elgin.
