redfiona99I was reading the football section of the teletext this afternoon and there was the usual bit about how Manchester City wanted to sign Marc-Vivian Foe. But they've been after him for a while so I think no more of it.
Then I turn on the TV this evening, it was Turkey v France, and I find out that he's just died. Dropped dead in the middle of the pitch due to a heart attack.
I'm shocked more than anything. Because yes, he never played for one of my teams, but he couldn't have been more than 28-29. And you don't expect people that young to have heart attacks.
He will be missed.
