Whee (Mostly Sports)
Mar. 26th, 2009 11:56 amF1 starts this weekend and the rule changes and general shenanigans have been even bigger this year than usual, which should make for an interesting Australian GP. And no fencing, so I can watch it.
I do hopeHonda Brawn GP do well.
Onto football, other than really enjoying the Dave Whelan v Mike Ashley spat, I'm deeply amused by this Luca Toni quote.
"Amauri to Italy? I wouldn't agree with it. We have great champions in Italy. Marco Di Vaio and Giampaolo Pazzini, for example. Those two strikers do not have any identity or passport problems."
Um, Luca, I know you're not the brightest of the megawatt bulbs but there's a guy you won the world cup with who fits that description.
Onto non-sporting matters, two charts various people might enjoy:
1 - Map showing where in the US sitcoms have been based - http://danmeth.com/post/87573961/usa-sitcom-map-4-in-a-series-of-pop-cultural
2 - Map showing where in New York NY-based sitcoms have been based - http://danmeth.com/post/87262657/nyc-sitcom-map-3-in-a-series-of-pop-cultural
I do hope
