I know this doesn't really need saying, but France don't deserve Dussatoir, Bonnaire, Servat, Hardoniquoy and Rougerrie. Or rather the coaches don't. How dare you keep sending them out with sub-par tactics?!

Also, that game was good once they realised it was rugby not a kicking practise.

I meant to say this a couple of weeks ago, but I love Ronan O'Gara. Difficult kick, he's captain, he's Ronan of the Iron Boot, but he knows that Jonathan Sexton needs the kicks for confidence, and so he lets him take it. That's first class captaincy.

My heart is bleeding. I didn't get to see qualifying but neither of the Ferraris getting through to the top ten shootout is something quite unbearable.

Health Update:

In an attempt to get in shape for a friend's wedding in December, an alleged diet has begun. I say alleged because it's basically just that I'm not having desert on days I don't exercise (which is a great incentive to go and exercise) and having one hot meal and one set of sandwiches (along with breakfast) a day.

I think it's working because I am frelling hungry.

That being said, more will need to be done because I've spotted the dress I'm probably going to wear to the wedding, and I need to probably tone up as well.

I have discovered that Next use the same model as Leon Paul. She is a smidge taller than me, she has a much smaller waist, and bigger boobs. If I ever meet her, I'm feeding her food. Then I might stand half a chance of finding clothes that fit.

As a lot of people do, I've made myself some fitness goals. I'm giving myself until the end of June to do this, which I know is a lot of time, but I live quite hectically, so I don't want to add any extra pressure on to me.

1) From a start weight of 69 kg I want to get down to 60, or just under 10 stone. I thought 60 was 10 stone, but it turns out that 10 stone = 63 kg. So I learnt something today too. Which should be doable.

2) Go to the gym regularly. Yes, even if it's raining. This could be more of a problem. The gym I go to, the university one because I'm a cheapskate, and really, £32 a month is way too much to be charging for gym membership dear gym companies, is the other end of a fifteen minute walk through a rather dark park. I don't mind this in the dry, in the wet it's another matter.

3) Endevour to reduce the amount of sugar I eat. Again, a difficult one. I'm a sugar freak.

4) Reduce the amount of alcohol consumed. I will only drink guest ales, Czech Bud if I ever find it and at house parties/bar crawls. While this may still sound like a lot, it means I'm cutting down on a lot of random lagers and vodkas. And rum. This is far easier for me than cutting down on sugar will be.

As you may have gathered from the haphazardness of point 1, the main goal of this is not actually weight loss, it's toning up, only in order for anyone to see said toning up, I'm going have to lose some bulk. Hopefully replacing fat with muscle, which is why I've not set myself to lose a lot, because, as you undoubtedly know so I feel a bit stupid for putting it, muscle weights more than fat. But it should burn things off faster so more muscle is pretty much win - win for me.

Now as to how it goes, that's a different question.

Things that are bad:
1 - have definitely lost fic disk. Thankfully I know what I've written in the fic of doom.
2 - lab stuff has gone back to not working.
3 - My Chemical Romance - the reason Gerrard Way has to wear a flak jacket are my numerous threats. And that's a joke. PS - any Emo kids who take offence, grow the fuck up. (sorry about that, I don't know why but emo bands wind me up by breathing)
4 - Landlord did not come to fix light. Living room still in darkness.

Things that are good:
1 - Green Day winning best music vid award and Billy Joe's acceptance speech. I <3 them so.
2 - went to the gym. Managed to see VMAs which meant no MTV Base or Kiss. Yes!
3 - Library back to normal opening hours. Yay, don't have to go back to darkness of doom.

Things that fit in neither category:
1 - my eyes are too sensitive to light to work in psychology experiments, apparantly my pupils contract too much. Well duh, have you seen my pupils, they're huge.

2 - weight down by 2kg. My weight yo-yos far too much for its own good, and very little of it is my fault, I'm just not a regular schedule type person.
