This is how it works. Whoever started this meme left five "clues". I've responded with the five stories that meet the criteria of the "clues". You can do so too, should you wish, and/or leave a "clue" for me. The "clues" can be anything from "Your favorite story" to "Story in which the most characters died" to "A story that includes both a threesome and a wrench."
These are the original five "clues":
1. Your story with the closest word count to 1,662 words.
2. Your story in the rarest fandom you write in.
3. The longest story you've ever written.
4. The story that's title starts with the last letter of your user name.
5. Story written for your favorite prompt you've ever gotten.
I'm using the stories that are up on AOOO because it does word counts and stuff for you.
1 - Late Night, Drunk and Maudlin, which is 1667 words long and is one of my Bradshaw/Farooq fics.
2 - The Closing Of The Case which is Poirot fic, set after the TV version of 'Five Little Pigs'. It's being definitely TV version that gives it rarity value, because there's only 16 fics labelled as being specifically tv Poirot fics.
3 - The Time Between 9086 words of First Class gen (for my peculiar values of gen in that fandom).
4 - None of my fics start with a number, never mind a 9, I shall have to go with A. I'm starting to have a large number of fics starting with the letter A, so I shall go with the first alphabetically, Acquired Reading, which is Dumbledore gen that was a late lgbtfest response.
5 - Walking In These Shoes The prompt was - "843 - Iron Man (movie), Tony Stark/Pepper Potts, Pepper is a tall girl, regardless, she always liked high heels even when she was a little boy." It is the ultimate prompt, one where the minute you read it, you have the entire story in your head. I've always been lucky in the prompts I've got, because the other option for this is 'The Time Between', which was another cracking prompt.
