- As it is, he'll let someone else be the guy the spinners twist into being “the brave first gay 'Prix driver”.
- Moriarty was coming.
- And she does, she likes it at lot, but, and she tries to explain it to him, that she’s happy with what they have, her hands and her toys and the way he watches sometimes, and that she loves how he listens and how he thinks, and that there is nothing in the world that she thinks is prettier than him in full blush, and she loves how he fits all of that together in one person, but it never seems to make sense when she says it so all she can say is that she'd rather be not having sex with him than having sex with anyone else, and hope that he understands that.
(Apparently, I need to learn what a full stop is.)
- It wouldn't be the same, but it didn't need to be, he could carry on their tradition, knowing Fred would approve as long as there was enough mischief involved.
- "You were right. I wasn't old enough."
- Because the first thing Hogwarts knew was "keep them safe."
- “How shall I begin?”
- Many years later, when Dumbledore is appointed headmaster, and the first great Wizarding War is over, he organises an expansion of the Hogwarts library, so that it includes a fiction section and a wider range of non-fiction.

- The Black Knights would win, Prince John would be king and he'd be lord of the manor of Locksley with his wife and children by his side, giving them not just the idyllic childhood he had had but the chance to grow up with their parent’s love, and all will be as it always should have been.
- To think that the day had started so well.
- With that Meredith Blake left Poirot's consulting rooms and so ended Poirot's involvement with the tragic case of Caroline Crale.
- Stacy laughed at him, but made sure to wrap some of the white coat round him and Mark when she got into bed with them.

- “I just wanted you to know how it felt. I'm never going to stop you, Jack, just have a bit more care with your life.”
- It was beyond Randy.
