I have no idea who is booking TNA at the minute, but they can stay. Because, yeah, none of it is revolutionary but it all makes sense, and people have a reason for doing the things they're doing and the things flow into each other and there are shades of gray, and yup, whoever it is is doing a good job.
(I suspect that the fact that I don't know who it is is also a good sign.)
Also good, the two part Rockstar Spud interview (part 1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4hGGcLnu_Q and part 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEZpCachzz0). It's just ... he's so lovely, and excitable and over-emotional and generally wonderful.
You know, for a show hyped as 'Night of Knockouts' there are too many dudes on this show :)
More sensibly:
1) While Eric Young is still crazy-dangerous Eric Young, I can at least see his point in re: he just wants a one-on-one match for the title. BTW this is an example of what I mean when I say everyone is making sense, and also just because he's making sense doesn't mean he's a good guy.
2) James Storm being a silver-tongued devil and putting the serpent of doubt firmly in Magnus's mind in re: Mickie James. It's just all the showing not telling I've been wanting about how he's been recruiting for the Revolution. And if he is after Mickie, and not just winding Magnus up, yay, an evil group remembers that the women-folk exist.
2b) Davey Richards making a call-back to being brainwashed by Storm when he's telling Magnus not to fall for it. Continuity FTW!
3) Drew Galloway cutting an anguished-in-pain-hero-demands-fight promo. *stars and hearts* He nailed the agony bit and, let's be honest, I may have a soft spot the size of Nova Scotia for Drew Galloway.
4) TNA belts driving people into villainy strikes again with Taryn Terrell w/ an assist from the Dollhouse.
5) EC3 is a magnificent heel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N43zDEo9bVg). He is all that is glorious and wonderful and smarmy.
