Which is apparently facing up to it's problems by suddenly being decent again. (facepalm)
I mean, there were a couple of places where the execution wasn't quite exactly what was needed but everything made some sort of sense (for wrestling values of that).
I loved the bit with the BroManz after their loss to the Hardys. Because yes, they were complaining about the Beautiful People not turning up and then had to forgive them because the BPs are just so gosh darned cute (to them). Admittedly this was one of those points where there was a slight execution oops because they'd set Velvet Sky up as Robbie E's girl and obviously, he is off with Brooke Tessmacher on the Amazing Race, so you had Jesse being all 'aw shucks, my girl is pretty enough that I can't shout at her for getting her nails done while I was having a match' at Angelina Love while DJ Z and Velvet Sky are busily rhubarbing being BFFs in the other half of the screen.
Simon Diamond is lurking again, being the voice of wisdom in Shark Boy's ear.
Magnus and Bram were less squeak inducing, although Magnus's attempts to stop himself corpsing were amusing.
Madison Rayne turned on Taryn Terrell, leaving us with two face Knockouts. I'm presuming that Brooke will be a good girl again on her return and Aces and Eights will never be mentioned again. All in favour of never mentioning Aces and Eights again, say 'aye'. Motion unanimously carried.
So they're having a tag team tournament to decide the number one contenders for the tag titles, while the champions are being distracted by the Revolution. Now I'm not certain why Little Wolf is being distracted since I don't think Big Wolf is holding him down but Storm's promoette about knowing that was fantastic (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUWKeInhSFU&index=5&list=PLcovtt7Bdo9MyfVqP3x7Oe19G42DxPl3E). I'm not sure that I entirely buy Storm being mesmeric enough to subborn Little Wolf to his will (and Little Wolf continues to be unable to act) but this who angle plays to things I like so I am willing to go with it. Also Eddie Edwards can promo. And is going to get his heart broken by his tag partner and did I mention this is my kind of storyline?
I liked the title match. There was a TNA World Title match with a minimum of stupidity and it was good and yes! It helps that Bobby Lashley and Bobby Roode work well together in the ring and yes! It was good. Probably not as good as match 1 but Bobby Roode's face when he was handed the belt makes up for that. :D :D :D
