There have now been two good Impacts in a row. They're bound to screw it up at Sacrifice, but right now I'm enjoying it.

I mean, they've given me Joe as a defender of all that is right and true and good, which I like. They've also given me good guys who think, even if the brains trust was Bully Ray and Eric Young. Who did come up with a wonderful way of getting round the truly, truly heinous plot of the bad guys.

MVP, Bobby Lashley and particularly Kenny King did a solid job of being mean. To everyone. It was wonderful, they were mean to the production crew, to the wrestlers, to the referees and to the other bad guys.

The Wolves were also their usual selves. The thing I loved is in the match they were having (other than them pulling punches) is how when Little Wolf keeled over injured, Big Wolf immediately stopped and ran over to check that he was okay. It was adorable. (I know they have real names but they will forever be Big Wolf and Little Wolf to me.) And then Kenny King made me want to punch him by making them fight more and it was wonderful.

In non-main story stuff:

Bromanz continue to be the best thing. Inbetween Robbie E's near hysteria in re: clowns (although I swear I've seen the David Young version of this), Jesse being the only sensible person and DJ Z's honk off with Crazy Steve, I laughed so hard.

Gunnar is adorable. Him and Sam Shaw playing Go Fish was funny, and the bit with the drawings was as adorable as anything relating to Sam Shaw can be.

I still find myself cheering for James Storm, but that's mostly because I continue to loathe Ken Anderson and because the only guy being an arsehole in the feud is Anderson. Also, Johnny Cash's Gonna Cut You Down is not bad guy music, TNA.
