redfiona99: (50 Kinky Ways)

All of the Aces and Eights members who aren't D'Von or D'Lo Brown need remedial lessons in how to look threatening in the background when you're not promoing. You had Knox and DOC who looked like 3 year olds trying to look scary, then you had Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco who look like they don't know what to do with themselves and Anderson who just looks bored with the whole thing.

The smile between Magnus and Samoa Joe towards the end of their match was lovely. Can we file them under tag teams that shouldn't have been split up so early, please.

Lockdown itself was in a disadvantaged position, because it was on in the middle of the week of no sleep so I was not exactly a receptive customer. And I missed the X-division match.

I'm not sure how I feel about referees attacking wrestlers even if provoked. Mostly because way to make me feel sorry for the bad guy (or girl rather, my apologies to Gail Kim) in this feud.

Bobby Roode coming back was totally my moment of the night, even if it crystallises my problem with TNA at the minute. All the guys I like are not involved in the important things, so I'm far more interested in the stuff that isn't headlining PPVs and Impacts.

I get why they wanted to get out of the thing of having all the matches in the steel cage but having a Lethal Lockdown match with no roof ... what nonsense is this?! I don't even like Lethal Lockdown as a match, but if you're going to claim it is a Lethal Lockdown match then that's what I want, not a plain steel cage + weapons match.

That being said, I could still do without the stupid stunts (see also Tower of Doom and EY's flying elbow off the top of the cage).

Other than Aries's glee at Roode's return and JoeMagnus being the terrifying adorable selves, my favourite moment was James Storm checking on Eric Young after the stupid stunt of the night while everyone else was celebrating. Be still my squishy heart.

Since TNA haven't had a screwy finish for a while I shall forgive them this one. Also because Bully Ray generates nuclear heat. It's like TNA finally got the memo of the alleged bad guys have to do something bad to make us boo them.

Apparently the Lethal Lockdown had a roof, but technical problems meant it didn't come down. Some of the fans in the arena reported seeing it.

There's many plot holes in Bully Ray turning the way he did, but like you say he's an awesome heel so we can gloss over it!

That explains so much (and Sting plus whoever backstage get major props for covering it up so well during broadcast).

I am willing to gloss over a lot for Bully Ray's wonderful evil.
