Pick five of your favourite shows, in no particular order, before you read the questions below, then answer them!
I've gone with 5 TV shows I watch regularly. No favouritism should be assumed from this.
1. Revenge
2. TNA
3. Sherlock
4. NCIS
5. CSI: New York (chosen mostly because I barely watch CSI: Vegas any more because the new ones are on at odd times and fencing times, and suddenly half the cast has changed)
01. Who's your favourite character in 2?
James Storm. Although I have a fondness for flippy, narcissistic evil, or Zeema Ion as he known.
02. Who's your least favourite character in 1?
Ignoring the characters who we're supposed to dislike, I don't like Aiden. It's like, I can see what they're trying to do with the character but he just does not jibe well with me.
03. What's your favourite episode of 4?
You can't make me choose. I am very fond of the Ari episodes. And the haunted ship episode. And Enigma (oh Enigma is an exceptional hour of television). Basically NCIS has the perfect combination of character, plot and occasional twists to the formula for me.
04. What's your favourite season of 5?
Probably season 1. If only because of Aiden. And the blue lighting that everyone else hated.
05. Who is your favourite ship in 3?
Sherlock is a non-shippy show for me.
06. Who is your anti-ship in 2?
I don't really. I was expecting to loathe the whole Bully Ray/Brooke Hogan thing, but they've been adorable so far.
07. How long have you watched 1?
Since it started on E4.
08. How did you become interested in 3?
Since I heard Evil Moffatt and Evil Gattiss were writing a Holmes adaptation. Two writers whose work I like writing something based on a canon I adore. I am very easy to sell things to.
09. Who's your favourite actor/actress in 4?
Either Mark Harmon or Cote de Pablo. You can't make me choose. They both do a lot of heavy character work and make it look easy.
10. Which do you prefer: Show 1, 2 or 5?
Difficult. I mean, I try to keep up with all of them, and Revenge has done fewer things that make me want to yell at the people in charge than the other two.
11. Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3?
There's more episodes of Revenge, and I think I've only missed 1 of them, but at the same time, I've seen all the episodes of Sherlock and have them on DVD.
12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
Abby. Obviously. (I have never worn my hair in bunches in her honour. Nor have I been encouraged in this endeavour by my Mum.)
13. How would you kill off your favourite character in 1?
There is to be no killing off of Nolan. Don't give them ideas.
I wouldn't. I do worry that that is what they're going to do at some point towards the end of the revengination.
14. Give a random quote from 1?
"All I've got to show for my summer with the Graysons is a gun wielding, psychotic boyfriend who made out with you." Ashley, who continues to have terrible taste in boyfriends.
15. Which character from 5 would be a good guest star on 2?
I'm not sure. I'm sure it would work better the other way round, CSI: New York enjoys a good stunt casting (see: the John McEnroe episode).
16. Would a 3/4 crossover work?
It would be interesting. Sherlock vs Gibbs chasing after a murderer would be hilarious. As would Sherlock's withering put down of Di Nozzo. Oh I would pay to hear that.
17. Pair 2 characters in 1 that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple.
Ashley and Nolan. Who are the uncanon couple of my heart for this show.
18. Has 5 inspired you in any way?
Not really. I was already doing my biology degree when it first started, and I've never wanted to go into forensics.
19. Overall, which show has a better cast, 2 or 4?
Due to them being such different media, I don't think that that's a question I can answer.
20. Which has better theme music, 3 or 5?
Are we talking the original CSI: New York theme or the horrible remix they use now? Because the original wins hands down but I hate the techno remix of Baba O'Reily (Teenage Wasteland) that they use now.
