Or, as Sherlock has it, Hounds. Which bodes ... well something. It definitely bodes.

I've just seen the trailer and I am pleased by

Sorry about that.

What I am pleased by is that they seem to have cast presumably Henry Baskerville (probably Russell Tovey) and presumably Stapleton (the other person who isn't Russell Tovey but looks a fair bit like him) very well, as can be seen by their physical descriptions. Far too many productions have the only link being that Stapleton looks like Sir Hugo's portrait, and then have to hide the portrait from us. Then again, that's probably better than the Roxburgh one, where you get a clear view of the portrait, and are unfortunately reminded that Richard E. Grant has one of the more distinctive faces in British acting, thus ruining any suspense.

Although, however they mangle it*, the important words, 'a giant hound' have been spoken, so I'm set.

* although the words 'writer - Mark Gatiss' have been used and since I'm one of the three people who actually enjoys his work, so I am hopeful of low mangle levels. It does mean I worry about the final one, which is going to be written by the man who ruined 'The Dancing Men'.
