So Much for Swiss Punctuality
Sep. 18th, 2011 11:26 pmBack from Vienna, but I managed to break the Swiss air transport system on the way. No, really. On previous occasions, I've also somehow managed to be on the one German train a year that's late (yes, there is hyperbole in that sentence).
As far as I can tell, my Mother, or Grandmother (or possibly my Grandfather) was cursed by the travel gods, and as a family we are incapable of travelling without incident. This time it was only an hour and a half's delay in Zurich so I can't complain too much. Mum was travelling on the same day, so they could only hit one of us, and it happened to be me. That's probably a good thing, Mum was travelling with Colin and he deals less well with these little set backs than I do.
