redfiona99The Eurosport blog was spewing its usual hate at Astana. Now, I'm not an Astana fangirl, I am a Vino fangirl, but since it's his team, there's a certain level of protectiveness. Mostly Blazing Saddles is objecting to Astana doing to the rest of the peleton, and particularly the Radioshack team, what USPostal/Discovery (what's now Radioshack) used to do to the other teams.
I think he's mostly complaining about the fact that their doing it with venom, rather than the USPostal's robot version (seriously, whenever I read about the Crikkit robots, I think of them). But then you've got to consider that the Astana team is the remnants of the ONCE and T-Mobile teams that were the main victims of USPostal. I think there is some part of it that is entirely professional, and some part of it that really isn't.
That being said, today also featured this lovely bit, Andy Schleck, Yellow jersey wearer, potential overall winner, acting as water carrier for his team. Schleck minor is indeed v. lovely sometimes.
