nostalgia_lj - http://nostalgia-lj.livejournal.com/1982076.html which is a Doctor and Donna friendship fic (well I read it as friendship) wherein Donna asks some very pertinant questions, and there's the most wonderfully plausible and I'm totally taking as personal fanon Doctor/Master backstory. Short and gloriously bittersweet.
