Ski Jumping (Small Hill Qualifying)
Feb. 12th, 2010 07:11 pmSmall hill ski jumping qualifying has finished.
For once the point system worked in favour of a guy I like because it's the top 41 going through, because 40 and 41 were tied, and they decided instead of the usual arbitrariness to just send both through. This is why I like winter sports, they have common sense. Sometimes ;)
The top 10 from the world cup standings count as pre-qualified, so the entire Austrian team is through (I am not joking, Alex Pointner has made them exactly that awesome).
So very happy that one of the Koreans got through, even if it was in 41st. And I'm excessively happy about Kasai and Ito, and that Adam Malayz seems to be getting himself back together, despite that being a huge threat to the Austrians if he does put two decent jumps together.
