I was going to finish of the five things meme before I posted any more memes but after taking advantage of both Twig and Opera, I feel I really ought to post this one:
Ask me about one of my fandoms and I'll tell you:

Date: 2009-09-29 11:40 pm (UTC)You did that deliberately :P
OTP - I'm really not OTP-ish about the movieverse, but Scott and Jean are about as close as it gets. Because she will always choose him
Runner-up - Xavier and Magneto, but that might be a carry over from the comics. Rogue/Bobby Drake most certainly aren't a carry over though, and they're sweetly adorable.
Honorable mention(s) - Bobby/Rogue/John Allardyce - I think they sort of balance each other out, in a good way, and that's why Bobby and Rogue are at such a loss in X3.
Crack pairing(s) - Ororo/Hank is the crack pairing of my heart. I have excessively complicated backstory for them. I blame the X-men ficathon.
Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't - Scott/Wolverine, which doesn't work to the extent that Scott/Jean/Wolverine wouldn't work either. Scott and Wolverine are so opposite to each other in every way, and the clashy opposite, not the complementary one.
I also want to smack whoever on the production crew of X3 thought that the hints of Bobby Drake cheating on Rogue with Shadowcat. Bobby Drake would never do such a thing, and Kitty Pryde most certainly wouldn't either.
I'm not sure that last one is actually a good answer to that question, because as far as I can tell, the only person who thought it was a good idea was the production crew idiot.

Because she will always choose him
OOH YES. I like that. Yes.
I kinda like Scott/Wolverine. I read some, and they were good. I think it's one of those... doesn't actually work in the context of the movie, but nice to think about in a speculative format.
AGREED on the whole lameass Bobby/Kitty vibes.

Date: 2009-10-01 11:23 am (UTC)OTP - I'm not really OTP-ish about wrestling pairings, but I'll be damned if I don't find it hard to understand non-intra La Res pairings. They're just so adorably French/pseudo-French together.
Runner-up - Jamie and Nidia, they're just so cute!
Honorable mention(s) - Florton and Jindrak/Orton. Matters are not helped by Orton being my little black dress of choice. But Florton was the love that tended to express itself loudly every Monday night and Jindrak/Orton is such great snarky fun to write. As is Edge/Orton but I missed most of the Rated RKO era.
Crack pairing(s) - Wrestling doesn't really have crack pairings as such, because most people have interacted with each other at some point. And other people would suggestion Florton, missing that it is deeply, deeply true. Even something like Goldust/Booker T (a pairing that Missy and Mynx both wrote grade A fic for) has its basis in publicly shared bedrooms. However, if we go for a pairing I am over-invested in given the amount of screentime it got, there was a massive ball dropped on the puddle of squeaking that Jamie/Mickie James could have been. Given how badly he treated Nidia, Jamie really doesn't deserve to finally get another girl who does not want more than the truck-fests and Arbys but he had a chance with Mickie. (There was, in no way, ever even the faintest idea of me writing two separate Mickie/Jamie fics.)
Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't - Hardy/Hardy. I don't get it. I never have got it, and probably will never get it.

Date: 2009-09-30 10:26 pm (UTC)I still really need to upload a Buffy icon
Date: 2009-10-03 09:47 pm (UTC)Runner-up: Ethan/Giles, oh pairing of infinite messed-upness, how I love you so.
Honorable mention(s): Willow/Tara, I have a soft spot for them because they're so cute.
Crack pairing(s): My soft-spot for unrequited Graham/Riley not withstanding, Faith/Spike because they're broken in compliamentary ways. Also, it would be hot as all get out.
Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't: Spuffy, and how. It's just, yes, Spike is in love with her, permenantly and dangerously and boilingly (also, by the by, as an arrow in the Vamp wars, Angel was forced into having his soul, Spike chose to get his, Spike is just the better person.) but it will end badly for all concerned.
Actually most Spike pairings.

Date: 2009-10-05 03:42 pm (UTC)OTP - Probably Neelix/Kes, because they're so sweet. I've always found it very interesting that Neelix is written off by a lot of fandom as being lightweight comedy, given that the first time we meet him, he tricks the crew into helping him rescue his girlfriend. That man has depths.
Runner-up - Probably Paris/B'Elanna.
Honorable mentions - the Doctor/Seven of Nine, there's something quite innocent about them, and the way that they're the only two people to be in their position (suddenly occuring individual sentience) and it would be sweet.
Crack pairing(s) - There's nothing I could come up with crackier than what the actual writers came up with (Chakotay/Seven, I ask you).
Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't - Not sure what the popular ships are in Voyager, except for Janeway/7 and Janeway/Chakotay, and I have no problem with either of them.
