Writer's Block: There Can Be Only One

If nothing else I believe this to be a deeply stupid question. Because the questioner (inquisitor?) actually wants the answer to the question 'what do you think of monogamy'? Because it's not like it's something you can believe or disbelieve in - some people live in a monogamous manner. Whether this is due to any inherent programming or whether its a social construct is not something I am qualified to answer.
So, I believe monogamy exists, I'm not sure if I believe it's the right way to live or not (as long as all parties are over the age of consent and capable of giving consent, it's not my right to judge) and I have no idea if it's the right way to be for me to live my life or not, and as I'm single, it's not like my belief (or lack thereof) influences my life or that of anyone else in any way.
