redfiona99Not much to say really, given how exciting it was.
Mariusz, Tarmo Mitt, Phil Pfister, Travis Ortmayer, Terry Hollands, Derek Poundstone, Jason Bergman, Dave Osterlund, Sebastian Wenta and Arild Haugen.
There's a lot of movement, with Mariusz leading after the first event, and then Osterlund for the next few then Poundstone. Poundstone goes into the Stones with a one point advantage against Mariusz, and he's in the lead when they get to the last stone and then he drops it. So Mariusz wins. Again. First ever 5 time champion.
It was pretty incredible all round because they all got all five stones on and just yeah.
Terry Hollands and Arild Haugen appear to have fallen apart after the rounds because neither of them was functioning like they normally would.
And I now have a deep love for Travis Ortmayer, because when he was up against Sebastian Wenta in the Fingal's fingers, Wenta beat him by fractions of a second and he went over and lifted him up. And Phil Pfister raising Osterlund's hand at the end of the stones and they're just all so wonderful.
