She still thinks the lake swim was a good idea, it was just the timing that was wrong. If she'd done it even a month earlier, they would have raised so much more money.
It was interesting to see who in the business contributed, Gail certainly had, and she'd mentioned the swim on her Myspace, which had to have helped get more attention. She remembered Gail especially in her prayers in thanks.
There were people whose names she was sad not to see, but times were uncertain and money was tight.
Other people seemed to be having far too much fun with the idea, and if a certain someone didn't think she could figure out who Earl Milliwag was, well, then he was even sillier than that anagram.
