redfiona99I've now got to the most painful part of the year writing wise, when I make my list of WIPs and discard the ones that are really not going anywhere, which is always a ridiculously large number for me. Hopefully it should give me the impetus to finish a couple more while I'm at it. So to take my mind off it, I shall fill out a meme.

Why do you dislike #11 so much? I'm not into incesty ships to begin with (only exception being the crazy space incest) and on top of that I do not see the 'evidence', or whatever you call those fun things that shippers like to offer as proof of their ship.
Who is someone you know that ships #14? Possibly Wishtheworst or Opera.
What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? Probably plotting to get the belt during the Evolution days with Batista and HHH in supporting roles.

They're in the country of Oto, hunting down oni (random monsters) and Kurogane and Fai have gone to find out more information. One attacks and, because he won't defend himself, Fai gets injured. This leads to Kurogane's berzerk button being triggered and the fight being won. They have a whole conversation about Fai refusing to be active in his own defence and generally being passive as all get out, and Fai has this heartbreaking smile on his face while he admits his faults.
Anyway, 7 books later, Fai has started to use magic to defend and help the rest of them, which he said he never would, and Kurogane calls him on it. Now, the scanlation I was going to use to demonstrate this had the last part rendered as 'I don't care about your past', which while it is shippy as all get out is lacking a certain Kurogane-ness. The official translation has it as 'shape up and figure out where you stand'. And that's what I love about them, because quite often they're the only grown-ups in the vicinity so they don't give each other an inch.
How long have you been following couple #6? Probably their first or second promo were one of them, Rene I think, said 'we're lovers, not fighters' and I know that's not what they meant but I'm taking it that way anyway.
What's the story with #8? McKay on screen is not fanon-McKay - thank goodness - but this unsubtle difference does lead to one major problem. McKay and Sheppard have no chemistry on the show.
You have the power to make one ship non existent. Choose from #10 or #12. Easy. Spuffy, which was dumb in the extreme and just did not work for the characters. I don't even dislike AJ/Daniels that much, I just don't get it.
Which ship do you prefer #2 or #4? You can't make me choose. Because I love Nidia and Jamie because they're so good for and to each other. They're so sweet and adorable. Meanwhile Giles and Ethan are terrible for each other and only make each other worse, but they're stuck together.
What interests you about #15? It's that Handy both is the Doctor and isn't, because he's also the DoctorDonna so he's capable of feelings or acting on feelings that the Doctor can't. It makes for interesting ideas.
Why did you stop liking #7? Season 2. The glorious wonderfulness that is season 2.
Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the show? No, I am merely sad that we no longer have Trish.
What’s a song that reminds you of #5? Every Me, Every You - Placebo. Quite frankly most of Placebo's first two albums would suit these two. Because they're sexy and dangerous but not terrifyingly angsty and NIN-esque.
If you could have any of these two pairings double-date, who would it be? It would be a disaster whoever it was. You might just about be able to get away with Kurogane and Fai and Tosh and Jack.
Have #2 kissed yet? Frequently, messily, with chewing gum and on tv.
Did #4 have a happy ending? No, because depending which canon your following, after the 15 year estrangement and the various run ins in Sunnydale, one's in a governmental holding pen or the other thing happened (season 8 comics).
What would make you start shipping #14? A bit more of this angle, I'm already half there.
If only one could happen, which would you prefer #2 or #6? 2 has already happened. Whether I'd rather have Nidia/Jamie or La Res back, it's a toughie.
You have the power to decide the fate of #10. What happens to them? They continue to wrestle and give Twig and Pyroyale a lot to squeak about, but there is a reduction in the number of fics about them. That being said, the second part has already happened, which might be why I feel less grr argh about them than I did.
Which do you dislike the most? Spuffy. Just no.
Which of these ships do you love the most? As of this very moment, Fai and Kurogane. Although I've suddenly thought of Gambit and Rogue and Noin and Zechs who I still adore, possibly even more than those two.
