First thing I have written in ages. It's a Harry Potter Gen fic. I am so a corrupted Gen writer.

Summary: Minerva McGonagall looks back over her first term in charge of Hogwarts.

That was fantastic - I very much heard McGonagall and not some random reflective voice while reading it. The way her sadness and her reflection was reserved and kind of quiet seemed absolutely perfect. And I got caught up enough in it to be surprised when it ended.

That was the problem with this, the ending. I hate my endings. I might wait for the next book (if it ever comes out) and then rework it a lottle.

I'm glad you heard McGonagall. I like her, she reminds me a lot of some of my more favourite teachers. Trouble is they're all men.

I'm glad you don't mind a corrupted gen writer. I feel like such a traitor to both sides :)

See, I didn't think it there was anything wrong with the ending. It was just very easy to get taken into.

And I'm sure the slash camp will forgive you. But you know how those het writers are. =)

Okay then.

Slash writers tend to be forgiving (not counting the almighty flamewar at Rants) And I'm not to concerned about het writers for I have never been one :) Slash and gen I can do, men and women boggle my brains.

LMAO! I don't think you can hold anyone responsible for anything that gets said on Rants. It's just too much crazy and too easy to hit that reply button.

And the whole boy/girl romance deal is a strain for my brain too. Yikes.
