When Pepper had a mini-fit about dancing with her boss, which makes sense from her point of view because everyone will just assume that she's sleeping with her boss and that's how she got her job (which she didn't, but if you're pretty and your boss is Tony 'Lady Killer' Stark, people will assume). And he just doesn't get it.
And when was the last time a superhero film dealt with gender issues.
