Taking a 10 minute break from peak picking

The grand novel writing experiment goes apace. Sadly that pace is slowly. And I've suddenly realised that one of the joys of fanfic is that you don't have to physically describe the characters, because I suck at that something chronic. However, it might speed up because I've just hit the first bit of plot. Admittedly once I've finished I'm going to have to chop the first bit down because it's a bit exposition-heavy. The same way lead is heavy.
