I think I'm in love with a movie

and its name is 'Fight Club'.
Because someone told me the twist before I saw it and while it didn't wreck my apprieciation of the film, it meant I didn't get quite the turnabout shock that I should have done.
Actors brilliant. Each and every one. Including Meat Loaf and a nigh on unrecognisable Jared Leto. And dude, Helena Bonham Carter has certainly grown up. American accent muchly good.
Director good - I have never been, and I doubt I will ever be, a fan of David Fincher's work, but I will admit his style served its purpose here.
But the storyline was what hooked me, dude wow. The start of the fight club seemed so real (and dude I totally get it, I practise a martial art and the release pain gives is part of the reason).
And what it turned into, I could also understand, and I can understand why people long for it (it might not work, but it's a nice dream.)
What was scary was how possible it all seemed.
How the last scene was done was vital, and I really pleased they went through with it. How easy would it have been to chicken out and have Edward Norton save the day? But they didn't, and I'd like to thank everyone to do with the film for that.
Not my favourite film (LOTR still holds that honour) but definitely in the top ten.
