I appear to be the only one who liked Vorenus's ending. Because I'm pretty sure we see his dying breath and his children forgive him. And his sins were purged. Because I think that was the theme of this season - consequences and sins. Because everyone was having to reap what they sowed.

Because Vorenus was scary in season 1, his children believed he could have killed their Mother, and that lead to everything.

Because Atia schemed she ended up with her son, the delightful scheming creature that he is. Despite the number of times I wished the pox on him during this, he's a fantastic creature.

Because Anthony annoyed aforementioned creature, he was shoved into a corner.

Etc.

Oddly enough the bit that got me was Vorenus re-Romaning Mark Anthony. It's the whole thing about suicide and Romans and appearances, and 'a proper Roman sword'. It's pretty much guaranteed. Ditto Vorenus afterwards. And Anthony before, when he is told about Cleopatra.

Cleo when she realises that Octavian is a bastard was also effective.

I did love Caesarion, and the last bit.

I do wish they'd cleared one thing up. How do we go from Octavian, republican, to Augustus, emperor, because dude, I think he really does believe in a Roman republic.

Kevin McKidd brung it again. As did James Purefoy.
