I find it very hard to be terrified of random Islamic fundementalism setting car bombs off around the places because I'm slightly too used to the IRA doing it.

Really? I don't know, obviously it was worse in the height of the Troubles in NI, but these fundamentalists are pretty scary indeed.

I agree with being vigilant but the newspapers are being ridiculous, all 'we have never faced a threat like this before' and I'm like, 'um, what? Manchester and Warrington, bits of London, Birmingham and large chunks of NI would like to disagree with you there'.

I should probably put that in the entry to make it clearer.

Ah yes, well that's true. The dear old media, they do tend to go a bit over the top at times.
