I have pirate/musketeer booties. I feel no guilt as I have looked for boots like this for many, many (i.e. more than 5) years. Plus they were only £15.

The girly girls have landed (housemate's friends) so the Eurovision contest will be watched tonight. I shall of course be cheering for Austria, and shall wave my flag scarf with pride. Actually have heard the song, it's bland and inoffensive MOR a la Orson, Maroon 5, Matchbox 20 et al. But not bad. (Crosses fingers)

You never know you might get lucky, that's what happened to me. I meant to get something girlie with heels for a hen night but ran into them in the cheapest shoe shop in town. Normally they're not in fashion but I have money, or they're in fashion and I have no money.
