I feel strange and unusual

I am skipping fencing in order to do some uni work and, get this, to tidy my room. There is something horribly wrong with the end of that sentence. When did I become annoyed by the state of my room. I have a terrible feeling this involves something like growing up.

However, my room as reached a state of untidiness that even I can't cope with so I have to do it today because my next few weeks are booked up solid. Plus I'm dead from yesterday's competition, not that I can complain because it went so well. Didn't get nil-ed, even though I had 3 left-handers in my first pool, I won my first DE and then I got four points off the particularly tricksy left-hander that did eventually knock me out.

So all in all, life is good.

I get like taht sometimes; my room never gets overly messy, but once a week or so, I just go on a major spree, doing every little tidy up task. Out here it's actually quite a nice time killer. When I get bored, I clean. How's that for lame?

Nice job in the fencing department. I'm a lefty for writing and stuff, but also do a fair bit with my right, which I'd call my stronger hand, the one I throw with etc.

I think I should start going on sprees, it may make my occasional tidying up fits a lot easier.

Thanks! I think lefties have a rarity value in fencing because most people are taught with right-handed opposition so they have difficulty dealing with lefties.

Sprees are nice, once you get started, you don't stop until you find yourself doing something necessary, but completely ridiculous, like dusting the space between the rails on the steps.

So you're saying lefties are automatically superior? Huh. I'd always suspected.
