Strongman and Impact

redfiona99Was watching the final of Britain's Strongest Man and, on top of my usually boggling at how strong they are, I was impressed at the level of sportsmanship, because in the Tug of War event it was Terry (I think) Holland v Glenn Ross, who were fighting it out for the Championship.
The referee called the bout in favour of Glenn Ross, while Terry Holland thought that it should have been a draw at most and Glenn Ross agreed with him because neither of them had taken a step back.
Glenn Ross also, rather sweetly, lists cake decorating as his main hobby.
As for Impact
While I was quietly amused by Kurt Angle's loco moments, and Mike Tenay's reactions to the same, I'm not entirely sure why Samoa Joe is the heel in this equation? I mean, I'm presuming he's the heel since he'll be teaming with AJ next week, and AJ's the heel there.
VKM need to be stopped.
I missed large chunks due to ice skating.
Can I please pretend that the AMW v LAX match didn't happen? I'd like to live in the la-la land where all is well and good with AMW and one isn't smashing the other with beer bottles.
It also kind of hurt to see it end with a whimper instead of a bang.
I never thought I'd see the day where I cheered for Petey Williams to womp James Storm, but that day has come. I am both looking forward to and not looking forward to next week.
I feel the same about finding out Abyss's secret.
