Even with their usual ineptness, England should be able to get through this group into the next round. They certainly have the team to do it, even without he-who's-metatarsal is injured.

I'd say Sweden were likely to be the other team going forward. I mean, it's possible that they could finish top with England second. They've not got a team filled with superstars but they're a good cohesive team, if Mellberg and Ljunberg manage not to kill each other and Ibrahimovic doesn't start acting up.

Paraguay are not a bad team, it's just that, much like Poland in group A, they're all defence and no attack. But everyone said that in 1998, and they nearly beat France that year. Also, Paraguay versus Sweden will be painful to watch, as will England v Paraguay. I would also suggest that England v Sweden won't be pleasant either.

Trinidad and Tobago, much though it pains me to say it, may well not win a match. Although I would take great joy in them beating England. I do wish them the best of luck.
