The fic I promised

redfiona99Sorry it's a smidge late, I only got home at 10.30 last night, the train I was supposed to be getting got cancelled. Luckily I bumped into an old friend from high school who was supposed to be getting on the same train. It was kind of strange seeing him all grown up, because the last time I saw him was two years ago or there abouts, and he's changed a fair bit. It was nice having someone to talk to.
Anyway, on with the fic,
Title: Hidden Away
Character/Pairing: Draco, Sirius’s mother, with mentions of a lot of others.
Rating/Warnings: PG - slightly horrible death for one of the characters.
Notes: This is gen-fic and I hope you all like it. I’ve used Walburga as Sirius’s mothers name since I think that was used on the Black family tree on the Leaky Cauldron.
Summary: After the recent unpleasantness, some things stay hidden and others come to light.

Okay, this is my post traumatic stress disorder fic, I think everyone who writes Potter-fic has one. I did go for the show not tell approach, but I'm not certain if it worked out or not.
The idea sprang, almost totally fully formed, the minute I got the prompt. After that it was just a matter of writing it down. This is actually kind of how I see Draco's future panning out, him being the Snape equivalent for this generation.
But yes, criticism and comments are more than welcomed because I'm not sure if it all hangs together or not.
