A bit of argh and a bit of cooooool
Dec. 23rd, 2005 12:04 amThe argh! is quite simple - my family must never be allowed to talk about gay marriage ever again or else one of two things is going to happen:
1 - I will lose my temper and the fact that I'm kinda queer will be sprung onto them.
2 - I will lose my temper and go to town on exactly the kind of hypocrits they are and then the fact that I'm kind of queer will pop out.
Either way bad things will happen because inbetween my Nan objecting on moral grounds, and my Mother objecting because why should *they* be given rights that common law couples aren't (I don't know, because unlike common law couples they're stupid enough to say vows, and also Mum, you really have no right to talk since the only reason you aren't ever going to marry again is financial) I'm liable to explode with anger, and that would be bad.
I have to start sending pHD application forms in. Please excuse me while I wet myself with terror.
Nan bought me straighteners. After I expressly asked her not to. I know I'm going to sound like a brat since dude, it's a gift, but I don't straighten my hair personally for 3 very good reasons:
1 - it's bad for your hair
2 - I can't do it, I end up with frizzy hair with hideous kinks.
3 - I don't want to have straight hair. I love my uncontrollable frizzy curlwaves. They are me, and I am them. They make me stand out from the crowd. They make me memorable. I find it helps. I also don't want to look like every other girl out there with iron flat hair.
Anyway, enough of that, on with the cool.
1 - Saw the last half hour of TNA: Genesis
Before I get onto the spoilery bit can I just gush about how well they handled the tables. They made the tables seem scary and dangerous.
I do still have the most incredible difficulty cheering against AMW even when they're aligned with Jarrett.
The ending with Christian was so very cool, because I was all, 'Is one of the good guys going to come out to rescue Rhyno and the Dudleys?' and then he comes out and I'm all yay!
And then he takes off his jacket and he's wearing a Team Canada shirt and I'm all noooooooooo! And cursing Scott D'Amore like a good girl.
And then wham! Unprettier and Jarrett through a table. So back to the cheering.
Thank you TNA for giving me the good guys putting Jarrett through a table, it is a joy that shall stay with me for some time.
And possibly give me the kind of bad good ideas that I don't want to get about what to do to certain members of my family.
Thank you TNA.
Also, due to have icon space, I'm getting the chance to use one of my favourite icons ever.
What can I say, I've always been a Data girl. (Well okay, I was a Spock girl first but never mind.)
