TMI, materialistic bit and then writing

redfiona99Argh! Dear body, you're supposed to cramp beforehand not afterwards. Actually have made pact with body not to complain as it's done this at the best possible time, after coming back from Germany but before placement starts.
With my ill-gotten gains I'm thinking of buying one of those memory sticks, mainly because I always need more memory than floppy discs have and most of the uni computers are being switched over to flash drives. Damn.
Will also undoubtedly by the Razorlight album.
EEEEE! Stargate Atlantis is starting tonight. I have heard good things about this, and am looking forward to cranky scientists.
On the writing front, am writing fic that is floundering on the fact that it's got Lupin in and, you've guessed it, I still can't write him. I'm also re-writing the novel that got lost in the great computer swap a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I'm writing from memory but this version does seem to have one advantage, less of Captain Obvious Exposition.
Other than that other ideas floating round include 'inserting Robin into the Batman Begins movieverse' which features a lot of Alfred and an unnerving amount of Bruce brooding. It'll probably have many similarities to the 'Dark Victory' version of events.
Also, thanks to Twig, I now want to corrupt Cassidy Riley in a fic. Complete with Dustin Rhodes trying to save him.
