Only posting this because I don't know the next time I'll get to post fic and everything else I'm writing is either one-shot and stuck or longer and incomplete (like the thing that is not 19.7kb on Wordpad and still not at the end of part 3).

Seriously, I think wrestling is one of those fandoms were it's easier to write slash than het and gen
*nodsnodsnods* Exactly. Sometimes it's not even subtext, it's practically right-in-your-face text. But it's also, I think, because there is no consistent canon in wrestling. Actually, it's something I've been pondering lately because I've got a Simon genfic idea that's been bubbling in my head, and the problem of there not being a consistent cohesive canon really hurts the possibility of genfic in wrestling. Usually, it's one show, one canon. But wrestling? Multiple promotions, not all of it televised or accessible to all fans. So it becomes more natural to concentrate on the relationship between characters, and that's usually slash.
Discussing that, how did it end?
Oh lord, there was no sense to that storyline. It just... petered out pathetically after awhile. The problem is that there was absolutely no development for Simon between PPVs because he wasn't on any of the Impacts. At all. It was actually a complete -- though delightful, because I was there -- surprise to see Simon at Turning Point. After TP, Simon got his release and left TNA. T___________T I don't blame him, since TNA really screwed him, but, yeah. *SAD*
and I've always wondered whether Disco et al got that. That and Diamond was about one step away from the fighting Irish gimmick
I really like that, man, because you thought about stuff like that! Honestly, it wouldn't have occurred to me at all.
Yes, can I just check it through again before I submit it
Sure! You can email a polished copy to me whenever you're ready.
