AU Meme - Day 19 - Idols/Bands

Have some more of the never actually completed Molly/Regal fic where Molly is a barefoot country music star and Regal is her chief roadie.

Exactly what an Englishman was doing working as a roadie in Nashville was a long story, and not one Regal wanted to share, particularly not with Miss Molly.

The trials and tribulations that lead him here mean he's the right person in exactly the right position to keep her safe.

He can see people, the dregs of the industry and the dregs of the world, trying to get closer to her, riding on her coattails to glory and pulling her down to perdition (there are times he feels he's spent too long in Nashville). He can see them for what they are, even if Molly, sweet, innocent Molly who really is too good for all of them including him, can't see it.

He blocks them as best he can, tries to make sure there's nothing gets in the way of Molly making the music she loves.

The shippy fic is now definitely more likely to hit 1000 hits. The next two fics most likely to reach 1000 are both gen fic, but I doubt that will change the overall numbers because I write a lot more gen fic.
