Fic - Stop, It's All Happening Again (1/1)
Feb. 5th, 2021 09:05 pmTitle: Stop, It's All Happening Again
Author: Red Fiona
Disclaimer: I don't own the characters; I am not sure who does, given it's inspired by a music video, but no money being made from this.
Fandom: Fire music video by Kasabian
Characters: Prophet and the Guitarist
Ratings/Warning: PG-12 gen, prophecy, mentions of character death, sort of canonical character death, dystopian setting
Notes: I've always loved the music video for Fire; how it feels like part of a much larger story, the messing about with timeline, and all the possible explanations of what's going on. This is what I've always imagined is the bigger story. The title taken from a completely different Kasabian track, Empire.
Summary: "What if I told you we all die?"
~~~~
( Stop, It's All Happening Again )
LJ notes: Okay, this is another one that gave me the gen/not-gen problem, because, in a bit that didn't make it into the final fic (or not at full strength) because of POV, the Guitarist is completely gone for Prophet. Prophet sort of knows but is ignoring it. Everyone else would probably notice it more if the Guitarist tried even slightly to hide it.
