Ratings/Warnings/Etc: PG het fic. A very belated response to a Ladyfest10 prompt. Upon googling, it turns out the prompt is taken from the Dresden Dolls song 'Delilah'. The fic is not related to the song in any way.

Extended End Notes for Livejournal - this was the fic I hadn't expected to be the next one finished. It had been stuck at the third paragraph for rather a long time. I had this image of Amanda looking out of a window holding a glass and I couldn't figure out why I hadn't managed to get the image into the fic (it's still not entirely in there, but is there, sort of, now) and then it all suddenly came loose when I realised she was back on Earth for Spock's graduation.
Once it came loose I ended up with really random, and very reboot-verse specific character bits that I haven't been able to squeeze in, like the pine (or pine-effect) tables and Sarek loving riddles but really, really not getting nonsense rhyme.
