Avengers:
Still Standing by Zinnith
For anyone that missed it, I went ridiculously flaily handed over Natasha/Clint in the first Avengers film. I discovered that I was also stupidly picky about fic with them in. This, however, gets them, gets them in the way I see them and is wonderful and them and Natasha and, well, we're back to flailing hands.
Batman - comics version:
Measured Out in Coffee Spoons and The Last Temptation of Alfred both by hradzka who I have to admit is one of my telephone book fanfic writers (as in, they could make an interesting fic out of a telephone book). The first is a bleak but human look at one character (sorry for the vagueness but trying not to spoil), while the second is a very funny Alfred bit.
Dr. Who: Cold Hands, Warm Heart by lilacsigil
Or how Jenny and Madam Vastra met. Which I am taking as canon, I don't care if canon disagrees. I love everything about this, from the description of the setting to how brave and resourceful Jenny is.
Sherlock: - CBeebies Storytime! with Richard Brook! by merryghoul
Sherlock had a gloriously ridiculous idea, that Moriarty had a second persona who happened to be a presenter on CBeebies (the toddler up ~ 6 BBC channel). And this plays with that. It's probably more fun if you've ever watched any CBeebies stuff, but it's perfectly in character with both that and Sherlock and Moriarty in Sherlock.
