It's a toss up between the PhD and the black belt. I think that was one of the reasons I felt so lost after finishing my BSc, 'cause university degrees are built into being the ultimate thing, and yet it was so much less difficult than getting a black belt. The PhD meanwhile ran it close. I think it's because my brain works while the body, not so much. Even the viva is only a little more scary than the grading.
