The choice of music did make Early Doors giggle a bit.

Apparently X-Men in general makes me write accidentally shippy fic. But crikey and lordamercy, I'm writing something that's entirely gen and yet, it's still utterly Charles/Erik. I started changing my labelling policy years ago, so that even if any number of characters are involved, if the focus of the fic isn't on that, it's a gen fic, but XMFC is making me very, very glad that that's how I decided to go.

I'm heading to Germany for a week for a conference, so if anyone wants to request a ficlet, I am undoubtedly going to need something write. (I will be taking books and I will be buying books [yay, books in German]) but I will also undoubtedly get bored while travelling.
