Mostly Le Tour
Jul. 6th, 2011 09:45 pmMy heart, in terms of cycling, mostly belongs to (along with the usual suspects) Tommy Voeckler (I don't care that he's a usual suspect anyway), Tom Boonen (I hope his shoulder is not as damaged as first appears), Jeremy Roy and Jose Ivan Gutierrez (for keeping on keeping on) and Tyler Farrar.
I'd say Cav was being paranoid, except I'm reasonably sure that the ASO are out to get him (not a Cav fan in the slightest, but he's not wrong). Wiggins and Horner on the other hand are just whining.
Also sports related, here's a link to the text of a very interesting speech by Kumar Sangakkara - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricket/international/srilanka/8618261/Kumar-Sangakkaras-2011-MCC-Spirit-of-Cricket-Cowdrey-Lecture-in-full.html I recommend it even if you have less than zero interest in cricket.
Book Meme Day 4 - Favourite book of your favourite series
See yesterday's answer for my problem with this (especially as I'm only on book 4 of the Aubrey and Maturin ones), but my favourite Peabody is still the Mummy Case, especially for the scene where the phrase 'mummy case' is banned.
