In my new world order, the world will use the same job titles for the same jobs

An interesting sounding position has come up at a US university. The trouble is, from the description I can't figure out if they're advertising for a lab technician, a post-doc or a senior experimental officer. Does anyone know what a "Research Lab Specialist" translates to?
