Sarah Jane Adventures - The Warriors of Kudlak

Watched this straight after 'Waters of Mars' and it was an awesome pallet-cleanser. I can't remember if it was nwhyte or Stu who said that Sarah Jane best captured the Old Who spirit, but they were right. It was so nice to have characters who seemed to enjoy the weird.

I think I enjoyed this more than most people appear to have, but I think that's because it happened to hit a few narrative things I like.

It obviously that time of year when everyone posts their works in progress list for the year, fandom being more built on old Norse lines than might be expected.

A lot fewer this year, mostly because I've actually got my posterior into gear this year, and I've cut it down to only those fics I'm actively working on. This means there are few fics that are mysteriously gone from the list, but that just means they've been put onto the back-burner, in particular I'm thinking of the Bands AU which, on review, I realise suffers from a major case of 'as you know Bob' which is going to take a total re-write, which in turn means a few characters change round and so on. Major reconstructive work anyway.
