However, I want to know why in hell's name Liverpool want to sign Lucas Neill - he's not just a violent defender, he's a bad one too. See the penalty he gave away against Italy, you do not give Italian attackers an excuse to dive because they will.

In other defendery news (and how cool is it that I can have a transfer post all about defenders) Ayala to Real Madrid is bad, bad news. They don't need anymore good footballers. Ayala's another one of those players who I'd wish would win something one day.
