More Olympic spoilers
Aug. 19th, 2004 09:01 pmMainly gymnastics but first a little on the Aaron Piersol to do. It should be pointed out that, despite his reinstation meaning no Austrian gold medal, I'm completely in favour of his reinstation. That and so is the Austrian who also said he'd much rather not have the gold in that way.
Muchly in love with both of them.
After that and the similar problem in the 3 day eventing Mum and Nan are suggesting they cancel the Games. I'm killing myself laughing.
Mum is also making suggestions of an evil Germano-American pact.

I shall leave you with a brilliant quote from the fencing commentator re: some of the dashed peculiar names that tend to be found in Eastern Europe. "Quite often you get names that look like they should be pronounced Splod, but turn out to be pronounced Aardvark."
