Mar. 14th, 2004 01:19 pmHall Ball tomorrow. Should be fun. Am re-dying hair. Hopefully it doesn't come out too red. If it does, I'll just wash it some more tomorrow.
Vexed question of whether Robin was asking whether I was going out of politeness or some other intent is still remaining.
Won't see RAW but I should be able to see SD. In fact if I can manage it, I'll try and get up in time for the RAW highlights show on Saturday or Sunday.
LOTR:FOTR-Chapter 5, ( 'A Conspiracy Unmasked' )
Friday night post-ball update - trying to re-dye hair resulted in near complete washing out of colour. Becoming ever more certain that my hair is supposed to remain dark brown always. Think I prefer it that colour anyway.
Ball was fun, eventually. Finished helping Nat and Nuf with their hair. Went in with them and boyfriends. Promptly discovered that I was a fifth wheel and objected so I went to the bar to look for Matt, Robin and someone I think is called Kenny. Found Hugh instead. Chatted to him and Jo, who are presently giving Peter and his girlfriend a run for their money in the cutest couple stake. (See not all bile)
Found Matt et al. Talked to them. Sat with them until the block 3 lads came. Tried to avoid them because they were soused (in the main).
Fantastic rock and roll band.
Remainder of block 3 and female friends turned up during this. Danced with them all night.
Lots of fun. There was also candy floss.
Couldn't get back into block due to idiots setting off fire alarm (second of the day, same thing happened during my practical today). Got let back in, had to follow sub-warden into across the way's room because her fire alarm was going off. He had to go in and get a witness that he didn't steal anything, which he didn't. Nothing wrong with her room, I think her alarm was just shorted out by the general chaos. (It's still going off 22 hours later, kill me now, please)
Oh and there's supposed to be a fight but I'm going to bed after this and don't give a damn.
Things I found out happened during and after the ball, that I only found out this morning:
1 arrest, 1 stolen double bass, 3 punch-ups and one pint being thrown over people. Beaumont, home of the loonies.
