Does anyone know what the ettiquette is for father's day as relating to mother's boyfriends who fall into the large category of people who are not my Dad.

'Cause I don't know if I should get him a card or not. Because as far as I can see, he's not my Dad nor will he ever be among the people who suffer from acting as my stand-in Dad (i.e my Uncle), so why bother.

The other side of it being that he's a really nice guy and I don't want to upset him.

I'm hoping some reasonable compromise will appear to me while I'm making my Uncle's father's day card.

Roddick beat Grosjean for the Queen's Club title. Which is both good and bad because I like both of them.

Boris Becker and Stefan Edberg are playing an exhibition match later. Which should be fun. Those two playing in the 1988 or 1989 final is probably my first completely concrete memory. Me and my Mum on the sofa shouting and cheering. And arguing since she's an Edberg fan and I'm a Becker fan. And she gloated when Edberg won.

So yes, that should be fun.

It's a nice day outside so I shall be going, however expect more tennis rambling tonight.

Oh and beware Wimbledon starts a week on Monday so I shall probably not be talking about much other than tennis from there on in.

From the Bottom Line clips of the Insurrextion tour

Trish in a Robin Hood pantomime outfit is cute. As in sweet cute.
Dear Stone Cold, there is no way that you downed 20 pints of Newcastle Brown ale since you're not a Geordie and no one can except them ;)

Just saw an episode of Six Feet Under, and am now of the opinion that it is the most over-rated programme on TV. Hated everyone, except David (I think that was his name).

But anyway, it reminded me how lucky I am to have my rather wonderful family where we drive each other to distraction (and beyond) but there is love (most of the time).

Other than that - Boris won, Boris won! Trouble was there was better tennis in one match between two crumblies than there was in a whole tournament with actual full-time tour players.

Massive love to Becker and Edberg.

One thing I love above all about Becker, they were asking about whether he could beat any of the guys on the ATP tour now, and he said that he could give anyone a good match, but he couldn't have another match the day after. Basically that there's no point playing unless you can win. Which is, I think, the mark of someone who is a great. Because he still loves the game (which is why he plays on the Seniors tour and plays lots of exhibition matches), and you can really hear it in his commentary.

I might complain about it, but the BBC tennis commentators are really kick-ass.
